“Super Soul” Summer Finale

Hi all – Well the summer is quickly coming to a close and thought what better way to end the first set of “Super Soul Sessions” than to host an outdoor dinner party – the vision courtesy of the wonderful world of Pinterest (love/hate relationship I’ve gotta say because I haven’t been able to get this darn picture out of my mind!   I thought once the vision of helping out the community to bring a large event to life happened, this outdoor/backyard dinner vision would subside but it keeps taunting me to the point of thinking about it morning, noon and night.

I just told a friend this recently, “It’s so easy to just look out the window and dream up everything you want in life, it’s a whole ‘nother thing to turn away from the window and go make it happen.  Here goes nothing!”

Having been wanting to bring this vision to life for a long time now and now up against the wire with less than 2 weeks to go, I knew that if I didn’t jump on board today and say a big, fat “YES” to it, than another week, a month would go by and then I would come to my senses mid-winter curled up by the fire with pjs and slippers on and literally kick myself for not following through on “the dream”.  So, unabashed, I’m saying yes, I’m doing it, going to make it happen, some way, some how.  I’m throwing all expectations of the Pinterest dream out the window and am just going to do the best I can with what we have and we will see what comes of it.  If nothing else, we will sit on blankets in the grass with our parkas on sipping wine and eating take out!   So here goes nothing!

If you would like to join in on this crazy dream, RSVP info. can be found at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/super-soul-summer-finale-outdoor-dinner-style-tickets-27222121097.  After all these months of doing the “Super Soul” Share Class/Happy Hours without asking for anything, I’m feeling a bit vulnerable having to charge but I truly just want to be able to cover the cost of everything and be able to give everyone a lovely evening that I hope they will remember.

P.S.  Hope to be picking back up on the blog here in September – wanted to give you all a break so  you didn’t get tired of me!  Just kidding, I needed a break from me!  = )
